I am a bronze level guide and trained at Kenya Wildlife Service, where I was certified in Tourism Administration in Tour Guiding. I have been a guide since 2011. First, I trained at Mara Intrepid as an intern and now I work as the Head Guide at Fig Tree Camp. I also act as a camp naturalist and give talks about Maasai Culture, the Mara, and the Serengeti ecosystem. I take tourists for game drives and I always try my best to make sure my clients will fulfill their expectations—like showing them the big five. I love the Mara because I am born here and I have found that the Mara is one of the only places where people are still living sustainably—livestock and people—and it’s the only place you can find large numbers of carnivores. I love the way we live together with wildlife. I enjoy being a tour guide and say that, “the day I become tired of game drives is the day I become tired of my life.”
